The Future Is Light

While experimenting with light painting techniques during a shoot with model “Fle” Uli Stern discovered the “skinlight” technique. During a long exposure photograph he used a special “light-brush” to paint directly on skin. The pictures are disturbing yet beautiful. The technique gives the the viewer the feeling of looking through the skin revealing what lies hidden beneath. Fascinated by the unique look Uli Stern decided to call the session “The Future Is Light”.
